DUCKLINGTON, a parish in the hundred of BAMPTON, county of OXFORD, 1¾ mile (S.) from Witney, containing, with the hamlet of Hardwicke, 497 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Oxford, rated in the king's books at £24. 10. 5., and in the patronage of the President and Fellows of Magdalene College, Oxford. The church is dedicated to St. Bartholomew.
